🦟मच्छर और पूँछ... (हास्य कविता)

​मोबाइल में हमने अपना मन था लगाया...
तभी एक मच्छर कान में आकर गुनगुनाया...

हाथ उठाकर हमने उसको दूर भगाया...
मच्छर था जिद्दी, 'पुनः-पुनः' लौट आया...

​मोबाइल छोड़ने की अपनी चाहत नहीं थी...
मच्छर भगाने को हाथों को मोहलत नहीं थी...

अचानक खयाल आया— काश! होती अपनी पूँछ...
हिलाते उसे ज़ोर से और मच्छर कर जाता 'कूच'।

​मन ही मन हमने प्रभु को आवाज़ ये लगाई—
'हे प्रभु! आपने हमारे पूँछ क्यों नहीं उगाई?

पूँछ होती तो पल भर में उड़ा देते मच्छर...
गाय-भैंस से भी अपनी हालत है बदतर!

​गाय, भैंस और कुत्तों को भी पूँछ की है मौज...
यहाँ अपने सर पर खड़ी है मच्छरों की फौज...

हमें डेंगू-मलेरिया की खानी पड़ती है दवाई,
जबकि भैंस ने आजतक 'क्रॉसिन' नहीं खाई!'

​तभी कानों में प्रभु की आवाज़ ये आई—
'चुप कर कन्या! तुझको शरम नहीं आई?
दो हाथों के साथ तूने 'अक्ल' भी है पाई!

भैंस बेचारी चार पैरों पर खड़ी है...
तुझे पूँछ की है जलन उसके गले में रस्सी पड़ी है!'

​सुनकर इतना 'करारा' ताना...
हमने फिर कुछ और कहना ठीक नहीं जाना...
मच्छरदानी में खुद को चुपचाप कर लिया बंद...🦟
हो गए 'निःशब्द', और हो गई बोलती बंद।।🤫

​I was lost in the world of my mobile screen,
When a mosquito hummed a tune, tiny and mean.

​I raised my hand to shoo it away,
But the stubborn guest returned to stay!

​I didn't want to let my mobile go,
And my hands had no time for this tiny foe.

​Suddenly I thought— "Oh, if only I had a tail!"
I’d wag it hard and make that mosquito fail!

​In my heart, I questioned the Lord above—
"Why didn't You give me a tail with love?

​With a tail, I’d flick every mosquito away,
Right now, even cows have a better day!

​Cows, buffaloes, and dogs enjoy their tail-power,
While mosquitoes haunt me every single hour.

​I have to swallow pills for Malaria and Dengue,
While the buffalo stays fit, without any remedy!"

​Then, a Divine Voice echoed in my ear—
"Quiet, oh girl! Have you no shame to fear?
Along with two hands, I gave you a 'Brain' so bright,

​That poor buffalo stands on four legs day and night,
You're jealous of her tail? Look, her neck is tied tight!"

​Hearing such a stinging taunt from the Divine,
I decided to stay quiet and stay in line.
I locked myself inside the mosquito net, quite grand,

'Nishabd' I became, with a silence no one planned... 🤫
